Last day

Tomorrow I have a day off. It's the only thought that keeps me moving today. My ankle is killing me and I didn't have time to put my brace on before rushing to work. I slept in. Again.

The funny thing about me sleeping in is, I haven't been last once yet. I only live down the street from work. I guess that helps. LoL.

I have scratches up and down my arms and legs. We have a set of Boxers in the Kennel for training and as I was cleaning their kennel they both jumped on me. And apparently the owner doesn't own a pair of nail trimmers. I saw the owner today. She is a spoiled little (old) princess. She saw her youngest puppy today and noticed it had a really red eye. She started yelling about how she is not going to pay for the boarding because of the red eye but wasn't going to take the dogs home. She said that the eye was red because no one was giving her dog his ear medicine. Yes I wrote that right. Red eye. Ear medicine. If you understand it explain it to me. Cause i don't. Then the woman started crying and wanted to see the kennel were her dogs were staying. I thought that would be the last of her but she ended coming back after lunch with some kind of medicated cream that went on the dogs eye and enrolled them into day care twice a week. Yeah that will solve all her problems. She should of known better before boarding her dogs. Its like sending your kids to daycare or school for the first time. They catch things. Instead of chicken pocks it's eye infections or kennel cough. She also had to complain about the dogs weight. Saying the dogs were losing weight. The dogs have been there two days and they are a good weight. What does she want them fat???? What a drama queen. I actually feel sorry for the dogs to go home.

I really enjoyed my lunch break today. I drove down the street with all the windows open and the radio blaring. It was a beautiful day out today. I'm a little sad I missed it. I went and got myself a happy hour drink at sonic. I love sonics drinks. I know the closer to summer it gets the more I will be visiting sonic at happy hour. I got my food and sat in the parking lot eating just enjoying the weather. Today would have been the perfect day for a picnic.

Like I said tomorrow is my day off and Bevo will be leaving. I wont get to say goodbye. Everyone Else is afraid of this dog. I hope they can bath him. LoL. I have absolutely no problem with him anymore. He is a completely different dog now. Before he was curled in the corner and now he is up watching everyone and even playing with the dog in the next stall. When ever I sit down for a break he barks at me to come see him.

I finally took a picture of him today. And I know what your going to say. He's not soo big. Because he's not. He's still a puppy. Only around a year old. I am more scared of chiwawa dog than these big dogs that come in. Freaky little ankle bitters. LOL.

Gonna get fired.

I am going to open my mouth and get myself fired one of these days. The dog trainer at work is a real Bitch. She is soo rude to me for no reason. I go out of my way to be nice to her. I think it just chaps her ass that Bevo won't have anything to do with her and runs to me every time she comes around. She can't pet him, leash him or even get him to come near her. I took Bevo for a walk in the yard today and guess who shows up. He gets all tensed up when he sees her. She walked up and put her hand out to touch him and he snapped at her. I had to bite my tongue so I wouldn't laugh. Then she stands there making up an excuse to why she came outside.

At the end of the day we had a dog come in minutes before we closed and this dog was fighting tooth and nail, grabbing on to anything to not go back to the kennel. She grabs the leash out of my hand and drags the dog back to the kennel area. As soon as we where out of the costumers sight she pretty much throws the leash back at me and says "Here". I put the dog up and run back up front to get the dog's food and his bone. It was gone. So I ask everyone in the room where it when and the trainer turns around and says "What??" in a real snotty way. "Where did the food go?" I answered back. "Oh I gave it to the other A." She says (meaning Amy. The other girl I work with) How hard is it to remember Ashley and Amy. I know a A word I would like to call this woman. I guess I am just gonna have to bring out the big guns for this woman. I'm gonna kill her with kindness. That irritates people more than have attitude back. Lets she how she likes it.

Tired

After a long day at work I drive home only to say goodbye to AJ as he goes to work. And there is a storm brewing. The perfect weather to sleep in. And I am sooo tired today. I know that tomorrow is going to be a long day. So for now I'm gonna try to relax. I lit some candles, turn on a movie and...

grab a snuggle buddy.

Dog Day

I had an amazing day today. Well it didnt start off amazing. Me trying to drag myself out of bed. But it ended on a good note.


I have been at the Kennel now for almost two weeks and the last few days we have had trouble with one of the dogs. His name is Bevo. A Lab mix who I think is about a year old. He has been huddled in the corner of his cage and when anyone or anything comes near him he snaps at it. Today I made friends with him. I was in the cage laying down paper and he just walked up to me and started sniffing me. So I just let him and finished laying the paper. By the end of the day I was on the floor petting him. My Co-workers all think I am Crazy. I just think he's scared of being in a strange place with strange people. I totally understand how he feels. I have been stuck in places where I didnt want to be and have snapped at a few people. (verbably just incase you did get that) All he need was some time to realize we didnt want to hurt him. Its kinda funny because the owners are paying be bucks to get Bevo trained and the Trainer cant even leash the pup. Maybe tomorrow he will still want to be friends and we can leash him with no problem.

This is Molly. She is a 3 month old red bone coon hound and she is the cutiest and the sweetet baby in the kennel. I want a dog like this one day.

This is Dakota. I call her Stevie Mc Queen because she always m anages to escape but she doesnt get to far.

An this was just too funny. Leo the little one won't share the bed so Lucy is sitting on him. LOL.

It snowed last night if you didn't hear. The weather here is getting so weird. One day it's sunny and almost warm. The next it's snowing.

My car was covered in a small layer of snow and frost.

My green Nail polish (which reminds me off sour apple) My Irish Charm Bracelet and My claddagh ring.

Today was long but wonderful. It was my day off after my first week back to work. I was so ready for this day.

We didnt really make any plans fo today but

We ended takingour out neice out for lunch to Mc Donald's.

AJ's freaky finger . Random I know.

My tree is blooming. So happy. I need to go out to the nature center and get pics at the Butterfly gaden. I hope to grow some strawberries this summer and maybe a few other things. I
don't eat them but AJ does. I just love planting things.
We went out to eat tonight for St. Patricks day. And go figure we end up at a mexican restaruant.
I always get the fajitas Nachos. Yummy.
The Best Steak fajitas I ever had was in Philly. If you ever go up there get a Philly Cheese Steak Fajita. I my god where they good. Im drooling now. LOL.

They turn out okay. I could do better decorating but it was getting late and I have to get up early tomorrow. : (
